Monad have two main groups for chatting - Discord & Telegram.
Everything contributors do at Monad is about quality - and chatting is no different. The conversations you have are the first thing new members see and engage with, so if you’re having good conversations, community attract good people.
Monad community love to see welcoming, humorous conversations about technical topics, the industry, current events, and beliefs. Monad community want to push the boundaries and be a place where insane, hilarious, abstract jokes and topics are discussed and evolved by members.
This is the fastest way to get roles.
Discord

If you’re a key member of the community, then you will get Mon role.
If you have conversations that make sense and make our community a better place then you will get Nads role. (If you farm this role, you will probably be banned)
Nads role is now another Mon role.
If you stick around then Nad OG is for you.
If you talk about special interests or post in channels about DeFi, trading, tech or NFTs you can quickly get the Quant role.
If you do any of these really well and the community recommends you, then the Running Hot role will be granted.
A role for people who created good art/memes/visuals.
A role for people who create good video/gif/animated content.
If you are active on Twitter, you like to share cool thoughts and ideas with your followers or you have an interesting background, DM MikΞWΞb your Discord username for Full Access to the Monad Discord community!
Localnads is a role that reflects community members effort and contributions to their regional channels.
You can think of it as the 'Nads' role for people communicating, posting, and running initiatives in different languages.
it doesn't stack with Nads. its the same.
If you have great creative ideas, and shitpoast well, you get 1)what role.
Early settler and retired role for members who joined before Discord went public.
Discord XP
The community team will reward members who participate in Discord activities with XP.
Tasks such as asking questions before AMA events, or achievements such as winning poker nights will be rewarded with XP.
#monad-missions channel will often use XP as their reward system.
You can check your rank in #check-rank channel and see the leaderboard at MEE6 .
Telegram
Monad have a private OG locked Telegram group that purge members from time to time and then open spots.
- The OG Telegram cap will be raised slowly over time (which means more room to add new members).
- The Purgeatory (Telegram group) and House of Molandak (Telegramto group), will become the only ways to get into the OG chat.
To get an invite to group, you need to comment under a relevant tweet from Monad. e.g.
Whenever team post from the Monad main account or team members accounts such as Keone (Monad Cofounder & CEO), Tunez (Monad Eco Marketing), Bill (Monad Cult Leader), James (Monad Co-founder), Intern (Monad Marketing) etc be sure to reply with a joke, a thought, a meme, or anything that makes sense.
It is especially good to do this with Monad community accounts too. You can follow all of Monad best posters on the Nad list here.
Whenever Monad community posts, team want the comments section to be ripping with replies.
Events
Daily Events
Monad have two mainstay events every week:
- On Monday, Monad have Monad Mondays, which is usually an AMA (ask the team anything) or roundtable (everyone gives their opinions) in the Discord voice channel or twitter spaces.
- On Wednesday we have Asia/Euro timezone poker
- On Thursday we have Port’s Poker, a one hour hour poker tournament and Discord voice channel hang.
- On Thursday there is often a space on Tunez’ account too, figuring out what Monad really is.
Coming to these events is a fast way to become a core community member.

Monad Missions
We will generally have a Monad Mission going on in the Discord #Monad-Missions channel.
These are community missions that have a set of rules and will have rewards for completion.
Jump into the channel and see what missions you can contribute to. You have to have Full Access to access these missions.
Create
If you want to contribute in a more substantial way, then you can write about Monad and team beliefs.
If you are going to write about Monad and team beliefs (decentralization, autonomy, open and uncensored transactions, composability, crypto efficiency) then do it WITH PERSONALITY. Inject your opinions, jokes, and controversial takes.
There are many projects that have terabytes of content that is never read because it is bland and boring.
Same thing goes for memes. Monad reward for original pieces like Skilly produces.
Skilly has created an entire original sticker and emoji pack for Monad, along with many one of ones. He has created in his own style which the community has come to love.
So make something unique and authentic to you. If you enjoy deep-fried schizo memes, make em! If you enjoy classic templates then let them rip. If you enjoy memes that nobody understands, people love em all the same.
Some Ideas
- Find fresh meme ideas at Know Your Meme and try fit Monad in.
- Create interesting/unique works using Bing Ai .
- Create Monad landscapes/worlds at Playground .
- Find Random wikipedia articles and share information in Discord or Telegram.
- Use ChatGPT to make insightful crypto posts.
- Give yourself or somebody else a Monhat using the Monadhat Generator .
you could upload the Monad logo and create landscapes using it.
e.g. “create a short explainer on what crypto composability is using Wendy’s fast food restaurant as an analogy”.
One of the main takeaways is create authentically to you. Do not create what you think Monad want to see - create what you want to see.
If you’re a musician then create a song. If you’re a photographer then go and take pictures of something and share them.
If you write poetry, write poetry and smash it in the Discord #general channel .
If you don’t do anything then learn something. Spend some time learning a new skill and use Monad ideas and visual cues as a starting point.
